One developer used AI to rebuild 7 Adobe apps as free, open-source tools

ArtCraft's PhotoCraft, VectorCraft, FilmCraft and more are open-source Rust apps aimed at Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere and co. Creator Brandon Thomas says he built them with help from Claude Opus 5.5. Reality check: they're early alpha, and the creator says they're "not anywhere close to ready."
